Close to the old town centre of Citta’ della Pieve is Pieve Mirabella, a detached villa affording privacy, relaxation and comfort.  As soon as you get to the villa you will be entranced by the beautiful panorama seen from it.  Just like a picture postcard, Citta’ della Pieve will appear before you in all its beauty with, on the other side, the green valleys of Tuscany and imposing Monte  Cetona.  Pieve Mirabella will seem like paradise…in the large garden are areas set up for games (a ping-pong table, bicycle area, swing, children’s toyhouse and bowls field) and for relaxation (the pool area as well as the garden with its view towards Tuscany where you can relax in a hammock and on benches or else sip an aperitif in the gazebo).

There is a medieval vegetable garden with fresh vegetables for you to pick and create tasty dishes.  The interior of the recently-built villa has been skilfully handcrafted with local materials.   The restful muted colours will help you relax and each room has been planned with great attention to detail in respect of the area and landscape.

Pieve Mirabella is halfway between Rome and Florence, in a strategic position just 5 minutes from the centre of Citta’ della Pieve which can be easily reached by car, by bike or on foot. The border with Tuscany is just 5 km away and the principal Umbrian towns, such as Orvieto, Perugia and Assisi, are within easy reach as are Tuscan towns like Montepulciano, Pienza and Cortona as well as the Val d’Orcia (Unesco World Heritage  site), just 20 km away.

A few kilometres from the villa are the main spa resorts of San Casciano dei Bagni,  Chianciano Terme, Bagno Vigoni, Bagno San Filippo di Castiglion d’Orcia and Rapolano.

Pieve Mirabella is the perfect location for those wishing to enjoy the countryside without being far from town.

At Citta’ della Pieve, a town of art and history, you will find well-known restaurants, winebars, shops and bars.  During the summer the town livens up with the historical Infiorata (flower festival) of San Gervaso and Protasio (June 15-25), the many events and evening concerts like the Solstizio d’Estate (Summer Solstice) in June and July, the “Notte Verde Bianca Rossa” (July

15-16), the famous Trasimeno Blues (August 5) and the not-to-be-missed Palio dei Terzieri (August 8-20).

At Pieve Mirabella you will have a wonderful time, surrounded by the beauty of the countryside and the extraordinary harmony of details, experiencing the true essence of Italy.
